Dr. Jamil holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior and
Management degree, a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management degree, a
Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems degree and an Associate of Science in Business and
Computer Information Systems degree.
Prof. Jamil continues his postgraduate research in exploring the inter- and intragroup information
sharing issues during crisis response settings. Dr. Jamil’s proposed intervention of reconciling
information equivocality within and among teams has been studied and practiced in emergency
response services including the fire and rescue authorities, law enforcement, and the medical
emergency teams in the USA and UK. His work was recently published in the Proceedings of
Academy of Management journal in 2021.
Prof. Jamil has served as an adjunct instructor at the Warwick Business School in the UK where
he taught classes in organizational crisis response and management, leadership in change
management, process improvement within supply chain networks, operations management, and
international business. Based on his two decades of industry experience, Prof. Jamil has also
contributed to design and develop curriculum at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels
at the University of Warwick and other academic institutions.
