Dr. Piermatteo holds a Doctorate of Management in Business Organization and Design from the University of Phoenix, A Masters of Technology Management from Stevens Institutre of Technology, and a Bachelors of Science, Business Administration with both management and marketing concentrations from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Piermatteo has professional background including international experience in the business strategy consulting arena. In addition, Dr. Piermatteo has taught business classes both online and on-site for over 16 years. These classes span from information systems, to strategic organizational leadership. Other academic involvement includes co-authoring a marketing textbook, designing and reviewing courses both online and on-site, multiple Quality Matters certifications, teaching business classes in China, and training teachers in pedagogy.
