Dr. Foley holds a Doctor of Information Assurance from the University of Fairfax, a Master of Professional Studies in Human Relations from New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering, in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Dr. Foley has served as a Senior Professor, Lead Faculty and as an Adjunct faculty member. She has held the position of Director of Information Technology programs, Director of Information Systems Engineering, and Academic Department Chair of Information Technology Programs. Dr. Foley has taught classes in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, and Networking, and Capstone course in Cybersecurity and Information Technology. She has also developed Information Systems, and Information Technology curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, Dr. Foley has developed curriculum in Information Technology at the graduate and doctoral levels. 

In addition to teaching, Dr. Foley has worked in the Computer and IT industry for more than 25 years. She has held a variety of positions, including manager of an Internet company, Senior Analyst and Team Leader at COMPAQ Computer division of TAG, and as a Field Service Engineer at Siemens.
