Sulaiman Jenkins hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education.
Sulaiman has been fortunate to have published on a range of linguistic and language related issues ranging from language policy to discrimination in ELT, and he has published numerous articles with Oxford University Press’s ELT Journal. His research interests are second language writing, plagiarism in ELT, sociolinguistics, culture and language.
Sulaiman has served on a number of committees and has held a number of administrative posts in addition to his teaching load. Most recently he was appointed the Academic Supervisor for the Writing Program at King Saud ibn AbdulAziz University for Health Sciences where he worked closely with the department chair to oversee the effective implementation of the writing program for the university’s Riyadh, Jeddah, and Alhasa campuses. He has also served on the university’s Academic Integrity Committee, Research Committee, and Assessment Committee.
