Dr. Do is serving as assistant professor of biology in the General Education program for Westcliff University. He is also currently an assistant professor of biology at Irvine Valley College, assistant professor of health sciences at Saddleback College, and biology faculty at Fullerton College and Coastline College where he aims to educate and inspire students toward student success in courses such as: general biology lecture and lab, human anatomy lecture and lab, humans and biology lecture, cellular/molecular biology lecture and lab, medical terminology lecture, pre-nursing biochemistry lecture and lab, general microbiology lecture and lab, and other courses. He is passionate about educating students in biology and health sciences. He brings more than 6 years of teaching experience to Westcliff University.

Dr. Do was nominated for the 2019 Professor of the Year awards by the student body at Irvine Valley College and Fullerton College. He is serving as program lead instructor of medical terminology at Saddleback College and has taught multiple diverse student populations, including: early college and summer college programs for accelerated high school students, adult learners, transfer students, associate and baccalaureate students.

Dr. Do holds a Doctor of Health Sciences degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences where he investigated factors that improve student retention and engagement in online video lectures pertaining to health sciences. He also holds a MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and BS in Biological Sciences with Medical Biology focus from the University of California at Riverside. Certifications include a Quality Matters (QM) certificate in best practice strategies in online learning, and an Occupational Skills Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician-B from Saddleback College.

Outside of academia, Dr. Do is an active tenor vocalist for the Santiago Canyon College (SCC) Community Chorale having sung solo and choir performances in English and Vietnamese languages. He has performed in community concert venues serving 800+ audience members, as well as for the Saigon Broadcasting Television Network (SBTN) Studios and Vietnam America TV (VNA-TV) Studios 57.3. Songs include: Anthem from Chess with Symphony Irvine and For Good from Wicked with the SCC band. He is also a member of the Vietnamese Youth Vocal Band, Song Xanh, whose aim is to inspire young adults in Vietnamese traditional music. Dr. Do has sung in the Chuyen Nhung Dong Song (Stories of the Rivers) 2018 Charity Concert hosted by the Ngan Khoi Vietnamese Chorus.
