Dr. Zeeshan holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering with a specialization in artificial intelligence and deep learning for computer vision. 

Dr. Zeeshan has conducted research in the area of Human Action recognition, ECG heartbeat classification and Multilevel stress assessment using ECG data. He was nominated for Governor General of Canada gold medal for his outstanding thesis during Ph.D. He is also a recipient of Queen Elizabeth-II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology in 2018. He has publications in reputed IEEE Journals and Conferences. He is member of IEEE and PEC. He is a reviewer of IEEE Sensor Journal, Science Progress, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Pattern Recognition letters, Computers in Biology and Medicine etc.

He has been teaching since 2001. He has taught courses related to Engineering and Sciences and interdisciplinary courses such as Probability and Statistics, Signal Processing etc.
