Kayla received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, and Master’s degree from National University. She has 10 years of experience working in higher education in Financial Aid focusing on compliance and policy and procedures in senior leadership roles at several Southern California universities. In addition to being in leadership positions, she was responsible for the maintenance of Financial Aid systems (Regent) and performing R2T4 calculations. She has a demonstrated record of successfully leading teams, as well as implementing new technologies to improve student experience, efficiency and compliance.

Kayla provides leadership and oversight of the implementation of Westcliff University’s Financial Aid system, PowerFAIDs. She is leading a team of Financial Aid Advisors to support students in their financial aid process and ensure compliance among all departments. She also works with veteran students to help guide them through the VA process and support their needs and is a member of NASFAA and CASFAA organizations.
