As the Director of Marketing, Sophie Bertucci leads the marketing initiatives for Westcliff University and its related educational entities.  Bertucci is a data-driven marketer with deep expertise in strategy, media planning,  investment, analytics, campaign activation, and optimization.   

Sophie has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and building high-performance teams across a number of industries including higher education, automotive, pharmaceutical, and travel. 

Before joining Westcliff University, Sophie led the in-house media/marketing team at the Auto Club of Southern California where she was accountable for all digital marketing planning, budgeting, creative production, campaign performance, and agency stewardship across the Auto Club Membership, Auto Insurance, Life Insurance, Discount, and Travel services. 

Additionally, Sophie was an early pioneer in digital media helping to define the industry for leading advertising agencies including Avenue A/Razorfish, Initiative, RPA (Rubin Postaer & Associates), Team One Advertising, and Wavemaker (formerly MEC).  As an agency veteran, she built media programs for some of today’s most recognizable brands including Proctor and Gamble, Lexus, Honda, Hyundai-Kia, Land Rover, Jaguar, Hilton Hotels, AstraZeneca (Nexium), and Amgen. 

Sophie graduated from Woodbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Marketing.
