“When I left my previous profession,  it wasn’t just about finding the right “position” in education.  It was about finding a company that fit my morals, mission, and vision.  Westcliff University did just that.  I was searching for a management that would encourage growth and creativity,  providing me a platform to showcase my skills and leadership capabilities.  Westcliff University, and more specifically Career Services Leadership, gave me this opportunity and continues to encourage me to be my most authentic self.  My department is one of the many at Westcliff that strives to ensure the success of not only our students, but our staff.  Each department has several smiling faces always willing to collaborate, but also truly wanting to get to know you and see you succeed. Here at Westcliff, we are more than just colleagues, we are friends and family! I am a proud Westcliff Warrior!”

Gracie Castillo

International Outreach Representative

Working at Westcliff has been a great experience, in part because my current position was one I hadn’t initially considered during my job search. Westcliff gives me a balance of opportunities to use skills I find engaging, while encouraging me to develop new skill sets. In general, I love that our different departments continuously work parallel with each other and collaborate frequently on common goals, because the environment allows for mix of individual projects as well as situations to discuss and problem solve as a team. Among all of this is the underlying understanding that we all want to make the educational experience at Westcliff a positive one; it is this overall desire for everyone to succeed that makes me appreciate Westcliff as a workplace and university. I look forward to seeing how we all will continue to grow with the school as it grows.
