The Daycare Teacher functions to assist the school with developing and implementing a program that promotes the social, emotional, physical and academic development of the whole child. The Daycare Teacher will supervise and engage with students on a daily basis.
Job Requirements:
All duties and responsibilities will be carried out under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
? The Daycare Teacher keeps order in the classroom. They scan the classroom constantly and is proactive.
? Greet children upon arrival to the classroom and assist them with hand washing and toileting if needed.
? Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized classroom environment.
? Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self-esteem, self- discipline, and normalization.
? Assist in implementing the daily schedule and remain flexible about assignments.
? Supervise outdoor playtime.
? Supervise the lunch and nap times as requested and assist the child in toileting throughout the day.
? Sanitize the nap cots and classroom materials daily.
? Be familiar with all emergency plans and assist in monthly drills.
? Dress and act professional while always using a calm voice in the classroom. Model good manners.
? Clean out the cubbies every Friday and organize the classroom for the next week.
? Check the sign in out sheets daily for complete signatures.
? Prepare and supervise snack time,
? Attend and participate in meeting and service trainings.
? Always be alert for safety and/or health hazards inside and outside.
? Greet parents and pick up time but do not engage in talking when supervising the children.
? Assist orienting substitute teachers in the absence of other teachers

The Assistant Registrar for Global Engagement provides comprehensive Registrar support to Affiliate Institutions (AIs), University Partnerships (UPs), non degree study abroad, Short-Term Program (STP) students, and J1 visa Exchange Visitors. The Program Chair in the College of Technology and Engineering serves as a member of the Westcliff faculty and oversees undergraduate degree programs in the College of Technology and Engineering, including the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), as well as the faculty who teach in those programs. Westcliff is an innovative, student-centered, quality-focused higher education institution; university leadership is interested in faculty members who reflect these same values for full-time leadership positions.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Technology and Engineering, the Program Chair has direct oversight of both the curriculum and the faculty in the college. The Program Chair is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, revising, updating, and writing curriculum in the undergraduate programs as appropriate, and is also the point of contact for faculty within the program regarding curriculum concerns or questions.
The Program Chair is responsible for documenting and evaluating metrics for program reviews. This includes reporting retention, completion, faculty performance, and student assessment data. The Program Chair works with the other college leaders to work toward and achieve strategic goals.
In addition, as a member of the faculty, the Program Chair provides high-quality instruction and support to students of Westcliff University. For consideration, Program Chair candidates must possess the proper credentials and qualifications to teach a wide variety of courses in the information technology and computer science programs. Candidates for consideration must have a terminal degree plus work experience as well as a track record of excellence in teaching both in online and on campus formats. Prior leadership experience is preferred.
The obligation of the Program Chair is to devote their full time, attention, and energy to the duties at Westcliff. “Full-time” means, on average, 40 hours per week, excluding vacation time and paid holidays; however, this is an exempt position.

Leadership and Management ResponsibilitiesThe Program Chair is responsible for coaching and mentoring faculty through direct observation and feedback, facilitating peer-to-peer observations, assigning professional development, and providing regular performance evaluations.Part-time faculty work in an hourly, non-exempt capacity, and an important part of the Program Chair role is monitoring and approving hours worked and reported by part- time faculty members as well as meal and break times to ensure that target hours provided to faculty are routinely met, labor laws concerning hours worked, overtime and breaks are complied with, and students are amply supported. The Program Chair is responsible for conducting coaching and professional development when any of these goals are not met.The Program Chair, in collaboration with, if applicable, the Dean, the Associate Dean, other Program Chair(s), Assistant Program Chair(s), the LITE Center, and Human Resources, is responsible for recruiting, hiring, assisting with course scheduling, and developing the faculty members in the department. The focus of this responsibility is on both the adequate number of faculty members needed to teach the courses and the proficiency of faculty members to meet the standards of quality for the institution.Teaching ResponsibilitiesThe Program Chair is required to teach the equivalent of three courses each semester. Typically, this will include one online course each session and one weekend course and account for approximately 20 hours per week. When this combination of classes is not available, other comparable teaching assignments will be made to satisfy the teaching requirement.All full-time members of the faculty (including Program Chairs and Assistant Program Chairs) are expected to excel in all aspects of teaching and serve as a model for others as to how to conduct oneself in the classroom and facilitate student learning. - Pursuing professional development (20-24 hours per year)

- Contributing to university-sponsored scholarship (SyBER and WIJAR)
- Advising students when referred by advisors or fellow faculty
- Review student transcripts and grade change forms as needed
- Working with faculty to secure coverage in the case of instructor absence or tardiness. This may require substitute teaching in the class and/or making other arrangements if faculty coverage can’t be secured.
- Participating in the assessment of student outcomes and grading calibration activities
- Leading program reviews for degrees in the college
- Participating in the monitoring and updating the status of the Program Review Memorandum of Understanding between the Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs each semester
- Supporting the process for earning and maintaining accreditation
- Engaging in Program Advisory Council meetings, faculty meetings, and other governance activities through the faculty senate
- Participating actively in curriculum development
- Facilitating professional development sessions for the LITE Center (at least one per year)

A Head Coach should exhibit passion to help their athletes grow on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

Recruit New Players
A key role in this position will be recruiting. The Head Coach will represent Westcliff University in the community and at any recruiting events, they must be able to speak with prospective athletes about the Westcliff University Athletics program as well as their educational opportunities. Create Competition Strategies
It is up to a Head Coach to decide which player is assigned to a particular position and to create situations. This would involve working with assistant coaches in developing competition plans. A Head Coach also oversees and decides on any changes to these plans during actual competitions.
Maintain a Program Budget
A Head Coach must also fulfill some administrative duties, with the main one being the creation of and adherence to a budget. A Head Coach must, in cooperation with the AD Staff, determine costs of uniforms, equipment, transportation and other items and operate within a budget. The Head Coach will be responsible for submitting a seasonal budget to the AD staff for approval.

Westcliff University is seeking a full-time Instructor for our College of Education.
Under the direction of the College Dean and Program Chair(s), the full-time faculty member provides high quality instruction and support to students of Westcliff University. For consideration, full-time faculty candidates must possess the proper credentials to teach a substantial number of courses. Candidates for consideration must have a terminal degree in their field plus extensive work experience as well as a track record of excellence in teaching both in online and on campus formats.
The obligation of the full-time faculty member is to devote his or her full-time, attention, and energies to the required duties at Westcliff. “Full-time” means, on average, 40 hours per week, excluding vacation time and paid holidays; however, this is an exempt position, and the full-time faculty member may need to work beyond this at times. To promote faculty collegiality an availability to students, the university expects full-time faculty to work on campus except when other arrangements are agreed upon.
Teaching Responsibilities
Full-time faculty members are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. These hours are primarily dedicated to the responsibilities associated with teaching classes; however, some hours may be dedicated to additional responsibilities, typically in the form of projects approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA), including serving on the Faculty Senate.
Teaching responsibilities are assigned every semester, and as full-time employees, full-time faculty are generally expected to accept all teaching assignments given to them (exceptions may be reviewed by the Dean of the college). Each teaching assignment is assigned a set number of hours based on class size, modality, and course credit load.
Full-time faculty members are expected to excel in all aspects of teaching and serve as a mode for others as to how to conduct oneself in the classroom and to facilitate student learning.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Frequent and meaningful communication with students
- Innovative and engaging instruction
- Fair and consistent evaluation and scoring of student work
- Timely responses and constructive feedback to student submissions

- Outside of class time, full-time faculty members are expected to maintain a minimum of office hours per week (available to students both on campus and virtually) and make these hours available to all students and staff.
Additional Responsibilities
As referenced above, full-time faculty may have hours dedicated to additional responsibilities outside of teaching classes. The following obligations are considered minimal investments in time and should be completed throughout the academic year:
- University offered professional development (20-24 hours per year)

The Program Chair for the College of Education provides leadership, guidance, and vision to the college in planning and implementing strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the University Registrar provides operational management to the Registrar's Office and ensures that student records are in compliance with state, federal regulations. This role will ensure that integrity is upheld in accordance to the university priorities and provides excellent customer service to students and faculty, efficient and effective management of data and reporting, and simplicity and transparency of operations to facilitate continued moderate growth of the student body. Under the direction of the Director of Operations this role performs duties evaluating transcripts, encoding, and maintaining information in the degree audit and transfer equivalency systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the staff and all functions of the Office of the Registrar, which includes undergraduate and graduate programs at all locations.
- Policies and requirements regarding admissions and records, transcript evaluation, transfer of credit units, appeal resolution, and general evaluation and transfer requirements.
- Provides support services to faculty, staff, students in the areas of academic programs and degree requirements, course scheduling, enrollment, degree verification, graduation, and maintenance of student records as well as handling state and federal reporting.
- Manage the daily operations of the department related to technology applications, reporting and service and internal and external customers.
- Accountable for data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for decision making.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of the student database and that the fullest functionality of the System is being utilized.
- Manages and prepares statistical reports and respond to requests for statistical information.
- Provides data analysis, approves all data requests according to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Provides assistance with academic advisement support, transfer credit, degree audits, grades and graduation requirement processing, electronic data interchange between departments and the overall functioning of Registrar’s Office operations.
- Develop and maintain an overall working knowledge of the University’s student operations and procedures.
- Respond to complex student, faculty and staff questions and interpret policies related to course registration, grades, academic advising, academic regulations, major declarations, graduation requirements, class schedules and room assignments, course credit evaluation, transcript requests, cross-registration with other institutions, study abroad. Resolves issues and problems or refers to appropriate personnel to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Serve as the data steward for the office; vet requests from other departments on campus for access to student data; handle open records, subpoenas, and other requests for student data; manage access to systems where student data is stored.
- Provide administration of academic policies and makes recommendations regarding policy updates.
- Monitor policy effectiveness.
- File regular student data reports and respond to error reports. Assist with compiling data for external audits.
