Registrar
The Office of Registrar at Westcliff University monitors and supports student progress by providing services to students, faculty, academic and administrative departments, alumni, and the public.
The Office of Registrar ensures the protection and confidentiality of academic records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The University is legally and ethically obligated to safeguard the confidentiality of any information contained in these records and hence, University personnel only have access to the specific information required in the performance of their job function.
Academic Calendars
The academic year calendar is subject to change without notice. In preparing the calendar for an academic year, it is impossible to avoid conflict with some holidays. As conflicts arise, efforts are made to make special arrangements for students affected.
Credit Hour Policy
Westcliff University utilizes the standard Carnegie unit formula to measure the time allocation per semester unit. Each semester unit earned requires the completion of outcomes normally achieved through 45 hours of student work. Therefore, a standard 3 unit semester course requires 135 hours of engagement.
Catalog and Student Handbook
The Office of the Registrar publishes the Catalog and Student Handbook every academic year. It contains institutional policies, useful information for the student lifecycle at Westcliff University, and current program requirements.
