About Westcliff

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Mission

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) mission of Westcliff University is to promote an environment in which each person associated with the university can achieve their full potential independent of ethnicity, race, gender, age, pregnancy, socioeconomic status, abilities or disabilities, sexual orientation, religion, beliefs, or national origin.

Vision

Westcliff University is a premier institution that recognizes diversity, equity, and inclusion as holistic and evolving. We strive to intentionally work to promote a transformative community that respects, values, and supports the uniqueness and resilience of students, faculty, and staff.

Goals

Westcliff University promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion for its students, faculty, and staff in all learning and working environments. The University strives to achieve an intellectual, cultural, and social environment where all are free to contribute without prejudice, intimidation, and discrimination – an environment where all recognize personal dignity and respect for the individual.

The University’s administration continuously develops, proposes, and revises, as needed, all its policies and practices to avoid biases and barriers to inclusion. The Westcliff University Human Resources Department, as well as the University’s recruitment services, apply the following job descriptions, limitations, and disclaimers to each employable position:

Westcliff University actively recruits and retains a diverse faculty, staff, and student body that is welcomed without restrictions of ethnicity, race, gender, age, pregnancy, socioeconomic status, abilities or disabilities, sexual orientation, religion, beliefs, national origin, or absence thereof.
