Betty Neuman (1924-2022) was a nursing theorist who dedicated many years of her life to perfecting a systems model that committed to promoting wholistic health through education and curriculum consultations within global health care facilities and universities- now known as the Neuman Systems Model. Her systems model is used to teach nursing to students by giving them a ‘wholistic’ view of patients that includes the physiological, psychological, sociological, developmental and spiritual aspects of persons and community.
Join us for this virtual memorial service as we celebrate the life of Dr. Betty Neuman and the impact she made on the health care industry, its patients, and the world.
