9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: OBTT Workshops – US Department of Labor (DOL) VETS

Topics:

• My Next Move – providing the opportunity to use DOL online resources to define and explore career opportunities
• Federal Hiring– to introduce the federal hiring process and guide participants through a job search on USAJOBS
• Employment Rights– providing a foundation of several laws and protections in the workplace; includes accommodations and self-advocacy

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Meet and Greet w/ Recruitment and Outreach.

This event is available to all service members, veterans, and military-connected individuals.

The Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) pilot program allows veterans, veterans currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses to take control of their careers through workshops to help meet their employment goals.

OBTT offers the opportunity for you to move your career forward. Workshops combine the skills you learned in service and as a spouse with employment fundamentals provided by the Department of Labor.
