AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Dr. Matthew Hubbs is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Institutional Effectiveness and the Accreditation Liaison Officer. He oversees the day-to-day operations that support the colleges, faculty, and curriculum at Westcliff. As
Accreditation Liaison Officer Dr. Hubbs is responsible for preparing and submitting reports to the University’s institutional accreditor, WSCUC. He also leads the University’s strategic planning process and other special initiatives, including the University’s acquisition of Western State College of Law and the University’s response to COVID-19. He has previously served as a campus and college dean for other WSCUC-accredited institutions and has taught psychology, counseling, and human development courses since 2008.
