Dr. Macera holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Ag. & Applied Economics degree from Texas Tech University, conferred in 2020. He also earned a Master of Science in Ag. & Applied Economics from Texas Tech University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Universidad de Belgrano, Argentina, in 2011.
Dr. Macera has actively contributed to impactful research during his graduate and postgraduate studies, boasting a series of publications in peer-reviewed journals, mainly focusing on Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. Moreover, Dr. Macera has received several awards and fellowships throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies.
In his role as a Consultant and Economic-Financial Analyst, Professor Macera possesses extensive experience providing consultancy services within the real estate, agricultural, and impact development sectors. He has served as an economic-financial consultant for organizations in various countries, including Argentina, Guatemala, Paraguay, Panama, and the United States. He advises numerous organizations and capital companies as an external consultant and structurer.
