Dr. Walker holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Development from the University of Dayton. Her dissertation focused on the training and development of employees for retention in the organization. Dr. Walker holds a Master’s in Human Resources Leadership from Sullivan University. Her Bachelor of Science degree is from the University of Louisville in Psychology. Finally, her first degree is an Associate of Arts from Owensboro Community and Technical College.

Professor Walker has been an adjunct faculty member for many universities and college systems in her hometown. Dr. Walker understands the importance of education and values the opportunities around her to further the education of those in her community. She did not follow the traditional path toward obtaining her education. She recognizes and appreciates those that work, support their family, and still find the importance of placing value on their education.

Dr. Walker places great significance on supporting her community. In addition to creating many curricula for human resources, business writing, and general business courses, she has created content for lectures for those in her local homeless shelters, Girl’s Inc., local library, and high school students to help them obtain and keep employment.

Additionally, Dr. Walker has been on over 20 optical medical missions worldwide, including many countries in Central and South America and Africa.

She is thrilled to be a part of the Westcliff family and will work hard to help you achieve your educational goals and fulfill your personal and pedagogical dreams.
