As part of its commitment to education at every stage of life, Westcliff University extends its mission to early childhood through Westcliff Early Learning Academy, an early learning center in Irvine serving children from infancy through preschool.
Building on the university’s more than 30-year legacy, the academy benefits from collaboration with Westcliff faculty and students while providing a thoughtfully designed environment for young learners.
Its program blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies with hands-on STEAM exploration and nature-based learning to nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Message from the Director
We’re thrilled to welcome you to Westcliff Early Learning Academy, located in the heart of Irvine. Every day is full of hands-on experiences where children explore, create, and connect with the world around them. Whether they’re engaging with sensory materials, experimenting with problem-solving or practical life activities, or collaborating on small-group projects, children work together in harmony and are encouraged to follow their curiosity and develop their own spirit of exploration.
At Westcliff Early Learning Academy, we blend Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and nature-inspired approaches to create learning experiences that celebrate each child’s individuality. Our teachers guide children thoughtfully, supporting their holistic growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—while fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
