MIST Program Learning Outcomes
Through a hands-on approach, the MIST program enables students to implement advanced technical solutions and achieve business objectives in key areas such as cybersecurity, data analytics, infrastructure management, strategic change, and emerging technologies. Students engage in applied research and gain practical experience in fields like network management, organization transformation, and smart manufacturing.
The Master of Information Systems & Technology (MIST) encourages students to achieve the following educational outcomes:
MIST Program Requirements
To be eligible for the MIST program, applicants must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent from an accredited institution).
- Work experience in IT, cybersecurity, or manufacturing technology may strengthen an application.
Students must complete thirty-six (36) prescribed credits with a program GPA (PGPA) of 3.0 or higher to graduate.
Students must apply for graduation. Upon graduation and fulfillment of all academic requirements, students receive a Master of Information Systems and Technology degree.
