The Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics equips students to use data for strategic decisions by combining core business subjects (accounting, marketing, operations, finance, management) with analytical and data‑science skills. Students learn data management, visualization, statistical analysis, and communication to interpret complex datasets for functions like marketing, HR, operations, and finance, while also studying quantitative methods—metric selection, descriptive and inferential statistics, experimental design, parametric and nonparametric tests, simulation, linear and logistic regression, categorical data analysis, and select unsupervised techniques—using standard and open‑source statistical packages to solve real business problems and deliver actionable insights.

The performance outcomes which are required for the completion of the program include: class participation, response to discussion questions, writing research papers, presentations, case study analyses, quizzes, mid-term and final examinations (Comprehensive Learning Assessments).

Program Requirements

For acceptance into the BBA in Business Analytics degree program, applicants must satisfy English Proficiency and one (1) of the additional criteria:

For students who obtained their credentials outside the United States from a non-English-speaking country, proof of English proficiency will be requested.

AND

High school diploma from a university-recognized high school with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA or university-recognized high school equivalency such as GED, TASC, or HiSET;

OR

High school diploma plus a previously earned Associate-level or higher degree from a nationally, regionally, or government-accredited college or university;

OR

High school diploma plus twenty-four (24) college-level credits (does not include remedial credits) from a nationally, regionally, or government-accredited college or university earned with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA;

OR

Approval from the Admissions Committee following a review of factors considered essential for academic success, including previous academic progress, non-academic achievements, and any additional information requested by the Committee as they relate to standards set by the University’s governing bodies.

The Bachelor of Business Administration program consists of a program requirement of 126 credit hours, including 60 credits of core business courses, 30 credits of integrative studies courses, and 36 credits of Concentration and Elective Courses. Students must complete one-hundred-twenty-six (126) prescribed credit hours with a program grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

BBA program standard duration is 4 years. The duration of the program may vary based on individual circumstance. Students must apply for graduation and meet all academic and financial requirements. Upon graduation and fulfillment of all graduation requirements, students will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration.
