Westcliff University has many students, faculty, alumni, and friends in these countries. We send our heartfelt condolences to all these members of the Westcliff family and send our utmost support during this disastrous time.
Our student services and human resources departments are in the process of contacting our students, alumni, faculty, and staff who are currently in or from Turkey and Syria to see how we can help during this distressing and heartbreaking time. For students, the Westcliff University IMPACT Student Life Assistance Program offers confidential mental health support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Counseling (in-person, video, phone, or chat) is also available. Please contact your student services advisor by email at studentservices@westcliff.
If you’re interested in supporting other organizations, although not affiliated with Westcliff University, we have identified additional non-profits which are assisting with rescue and recovery efforts, including:
- Syrian American Medical Society Foundation
