Pacific College Names Dr. Ramin Baschshi President
Pacific College has appointed physician and healthcare executive Dr. Ramin Baschshi as its new president. She brings more than 25 years of experience spanning medicine, nonprofit leadership and organizational growth, including executive roles at St. Mary Medical Center, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, Unlimited Possibilities and Rady Children’s Health Orange County.
A former Westcliff University trustee, Dr. Baschshi takes the helm as Pacific begins its first year as part of the Westcliff family and California faces a projected need for more than 61,000 additional registered nurses by 2033. Her initial priorities include listening to the college community, strengthening the student experience and drawing on Westcliff’s resources while honoring Pacific’s 33-year legacy.
