AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Melissa De Vera serves as Lead Faculty for the Entry-Level Master (ELM) of Science in Nursing program at Westcliff University. With a strong foundation in nursing education and informatics, she brings both academic rigor and practical insight to this critical role.
Melissa’s role involves guiding the curriculum for new ELM students, mentoring faculty, and fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that supports the next generation of nursing professionals.
Before joining Westcliff, Melissa earned her Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from West Coast University (2021) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University–Ontario (2013). She also completed her nursing prerequisites at Mt. San Antonio College (2010).
