Bill Lightfoot, Ph.D.

Interim Chief Academic Officer and Vice President of Academic Affairs

William Lightfoot serves as the Interim Chief Academic Officer of Westcliff University. In this role, he provides leadership for the University’s academic enterprise, supporting academic quality, faculty excellence, curriculum innovation, and student success.

Prior to joining Westcliff, William served as Dean and Professor for Colleges of Business and Technology in both the United States and Europe. He has also held executive leadership positions with global technology companies, including Schneider Electric and Eaton, and has advised and founded entrepreneurial organizations across Europe, Africa, Asia, the United States, and Central America.

William is a Certified Executive Coach and earned his Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University, his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University.
