AREA OF EXPERTISE
Dr. Bill Lightfoot is the Dean of the College of Business. A four-time business school dean, he has led the turnaround and revisioning of colleges in Europe and the United States, leveraging his expertise in strategic thinking, continuous improvement, and coaching. He has served as the lead author or co-author for several accreditation self studies and has led teams with as many as 61 full-time faculty and 190 adjunct faculty. His focus as a dean is on driving growth through a concentration on quality and intentional improvement.
An experienced entrepreneur and inveterate traveler, he has co-owned, led, advised, or worked for entrepreneurial ventures in the U.S., Guatemala, Finland, Monaco, and Tanzania. He also spent more than 15 years in sales, marketing, and product management for a global high tech corporation leading several major launches of new product lines in North America. His greatest passion is working with similarly motivated people to make education accessible to all people as the key to growth and development.
